I will never understand the willingness of (alleged) thinking people to assume that the ruling class has any interest apart from its own.

Bailouts are really corporate subsidies, which heretofore only involved practical matters like tax breaks and preferential industry treatment.

Now: elites in government are literally printing money and giving it to cronies in industry.

(Please note that all politicians have cronies; it is the nature of human politics. It is just that in a socialist republic, we have more than in a socialist dictatorship).

Obama will let the oligarchs rape our treasury, just as every other President has allowed to happen, more or less unabated, since our fractious little empire was conceived.

Obama is not going to help you.

YOU are the one that will help you.
